Roles & responsibilities
Work with senior leadership and interdisciplinary teams to introduce a systems engineering perspective to model complicated systems.
Educate stakeholders about best practices in systems engineering.
Discuss with internal and external stakeholders to understand the problem domain and define requirements. Liaison between external stakeholders and internal technical teams.
Create, manage, and/or organize concept of operations (CONOPS) statements, design documents, and other technical information.
Define and introduce strategies, techniques, and processes that improve efficiency and effectiveness of systems development and integration.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in systems engineering or a related field.
5+ years of work experience in the systems engineering domain.
Solid experience in project management as well as sufficient depth in some engineering disciplines.
Strong foundation in model-based systems engineering (MBSE), for example familiarity with SysML.
Strong sense of ownership with the ability to drive or own the full life cycle of projects and systems.
Experience with simulation, validation, and verification is a plus.
Exceptionally strong understanding of fundamentals and problem solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
