Roles & responsibilities
Collaborate with other teams on IT/OT convergence, i.e. on integrating industrial automation systems with modern IT approaches.
Design and implement test environments (HIL and SIL) for convenient verification and validation.
Critically review traditional industrial control systems and architectures in order to understand their advantages and limitations.
Independently read relevant literature and share your insights and knowledge with other stakeholders.
Design and implement flexible and robust applications and libraries for use in PLC applications (IEC 61131-3, C) and/or micro-controllers.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, applied mathematics, or a related field.
5+ years of industry work experience or equivalent.
Expertise in industrial control systems, PLCs, and microcontrollers.
Familiarity with standards relevant to industrial automation.
Solid background in control theory, optimal control, and robust control.
Basic knowledge in programming for PLCs and microcontrollers.
