Senior Industrial Control Engineer

  • Collaborate with other teams on IT/OT convergence, i.e. on integrating industrial automation systems with modern IT approaches.

  • Design and implement test environments (HIL and SIL) for convenient verification and validation.

  • Critically review traditional industrial control systems and architectures in order to understand their advantages and limitations.

  • Independently read relevant literature and share your insights and knowledge with other stakeholders.

  • Design and implement flexible and robust applications and libraries for use in PLC applications (IEC 61131-3, C) and/or micro-controllers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, applied mathematics, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of industry work experience or equivalent.

  • Expertise in industrial control systems, PLCs, and microcontrollers.

  • Familiarity with standards relevant to industrial automation.

  • Solid background in control theory, optimal control, and robust control.

  • Basic knowledge in programming for PLCs and microcontrollers.
